DELICIOUS broccoli in just 5 minutes!! 🥦 this korean broccoli banchan is VERY delicious yet comes together with MINIMAL effort! Serve warm or cold (preferably cold!). This recipe serves 2 people. Feel free to double it for a family or if you’re meal prepping! Ingredients & Measurements: — 5 to 6 oz of broccoli (or about 1 broccoli head!) — 1 tbsp sesame oil — 0.5 tsp kosher salt — 0.5 to 0.75 tsp minced garlic — sesame seeds to taste — chili flakes to taste (optional)
ingredients
5 to 6 oz of broccoli (or about 1 broccoli head!)
1 tbsp sesame oil
½ tsp kosher salt
½ to ¾ tsp minced garlic
sesame seeds to taste
chili flakes to taste (optional)
steps
chop up broccoli into bite-sized florrettes
boil water with salt
blanch broccoli for 60 seconds to 2 minutes
transfer to an ice bath / rinse under cold water
pat dry each florrette
combine seasoning (sesame oil, salt, minced garlic, sesame seeds, chili flakes)
mix with broccoli
