wonton udon in soup
ingredients
for the wontons
200g wonton wrappers
500g minced pork
¼ tsp onion powder
¼ tsp garlic powder
½ tsp pepper
1 tsp ground ginger powder
1 tsp rice vinegar
1 tsp sesame oil
<1 tbsp soy sauce
1-2 eggs
for the noodle soup
Better Than Bouillon turkey base
1 pack of udon noodles
baby bok coy / broccoli
whatever is in your freezer: lamb slices / lobster balls / crab sticks etc
steps
MAKE WONTONS:
mix all wonton ingredients. leave in fridge to marinate for at least 30 minutes
wrap! place wontons on tray lined with parchment paper
freeze tray of wontons (make sure they're not touching to help freezing process) for 45+ minutes until wonton feels firm
pack into freezer baggies to enjoy later
MAKE WONTON NOODLE SOUP:
boil pot of water
add wontons first (they need 7 minutes)
then frozen lobster balls. then udon (usually 2-3 minutes). then veggies. then crab sticks / lamb slices
meanwhile, boil water in kettle separately
when all is cooked, take 1 tsp of soup base, pour boiled water over it into bowl
